About Me

Hi, I’m Lasse — a curious, slightly quirky, and endlessly creative designer who loves bringing structure, emotion, and inclusivity into the digital world.

I’ve always been fascinated by design. As a kid, I spent hours drawing with my mom (a prepress designer) or flipping through magazines that I still collect today — i-D being my all-time favorite. Over time, this fascination grew from cutting up fashion editorials for collages to building wikis in school, customizing my Tumblr, and eventually diving into the world of UX and digital design. Living in Japan during my early teens opened my eyes to new cultures and aesthetics, and was probably where my creative mind truly kicked into gear.

Today, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Digital Concept Development, and I see myself as a designer of many trades. While my focus is mainly on UI/UX and digital experiences, I’m just as excited about urban design, service systems, or even furniture — I simply love creating.

What excites me most is the design process. I’m endlessly inspired by Koestler’s definition of creativity:

“Creation doesn’t appear from thin air... it is the act of combining familiar things in new and unexpected ways.”
That’s exactly what I strive for — connecting existing ideas in thoughtful, inclusive, and visually engaging ways.

I’m not entirely sure where my path will take me next — and that’s okay. What I do know is that I’m looking for a creative and collaborative space where I can grow, contribute, and keep learning. I'm currently exploring how tools like AI can expand how we design and think.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me doing yoga, curating playlists (currently in a bit of a country music phase), or flipping through vintage magazines while planning my next collage.
