As a multimedia designer with a strong foundation in digital concept development, structuring websites has always been at the core of my work. Mastering the right tools is essential — and Adobe XD has been one of my go-to platforms for building wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Through XD, I’ve helped develop a range of website prototypes that balance user experience with visual clarity.
In recent projects, I’ve transitioned to using Figma — a tool that offers many of the same features as XD, but with real-time collaboration capabilities that make it ideal for modern, cross-functional teams. Figma has quickly become a favorite of mine, and I’ve developed a strong skill set in using it for both solo and team-based workflows.
My experience with both XD and Figma has deepened my understanding of user interface design, digital structure, and collaborative design thinking — all of which are essential in today’s UX/UI landscape.
Adobe XD & Figma
PBA Exam Project – Inclusive UX Design
For my final exam, I designed a high-fidelity prototype for a Danish medical website focused on accessibility and inclusive UX. Using Figma and the Double Diamond process, I created a user-friendly interface tailored to elderly users and those with motor or language challenges. The design features adjustable text sizes, high contrast options, sticky navigation, and multilingual support — all built to meet WCAG standards. Through user testing and iteration, I developed a solution that simplifies healthcare access and puts empathy at the center of the digital experience.
GreenScan – Sustainable Transparency at Your Fingertips
As part of my 3rd-semester exam, I designed a concept for GreenScan, a mobile app that lets users instantly scan product NFC tags to access verified sustainability data. Built for a future of high tech adoption and consumer trust, the app offers a clean, intuitive interface that prioritizes transparency, trust, and user empowerment. With features like eco-ratings, lifecycle insights, and blockchain-backed data, GreenScan helps users make informed, sustainable choices — and fights greenwashing through smart, user-first design.
Creative Experiments – Side Projects & Explorations
Throughout my education as a Digital Concept Developer, I’ve continuously explored design, storytelling, and tech through a variety of side projects. These passion-driven experiments range from branding concepts and social campaigns to early UX/UI prototypes — each one a chance to test ideas, learn new tools, and push creative boundaries. While not tied to a specific course, these projects reflect my curiosity, self-drive, and ability to take initiative across design and digital strategy.
UX/UI Redesign – Sprutgiganten Webshop
As part of my final Multimedia Design exam, I collaborated with HF Innovation to redesign the user experience and visual identity of Sprutgiganten.dk, a Danish webshop specializing in affordable spirits. The main goal was to increase organic conversions by improving site navigation, visual hierarchy, and call-to-action clarity.
Through a full design process — from early sketches to wireframes, mockups, and a WordPress prototype — we applied Design Thinking to identify key user pain points. Special focus was placed on trust-building design elements (like Trustpilot integration), product discoverability, and a more intuitive information architecture. I conducted user testing both online and in-store, refining the design based on real user behavior and feedback. The final prototype aimed to create a seamless and credible online experience that better converted visitors into loyal customers.
First UX/UI Explorations
These early projects mark my first introduction to UX and UI design — and to tools like Adobe XD. Created during the initial stages of my Multimedia Design studies, they may not represent polished outcomes, but they were essential in laying the groundwork for everything that followed.
From wireframing simple interfaces to experimenting with layout and navigation, these projects reflect the beginning of my journey into human-centered design. Looking back on them now highlights how much I’ve grown — in process, in craft, and in confidence. Including them here serves as a reminder that good design is always a journey, and progress comes from practice.
